About us
The Sustainable Food Supply Foundation was founded on October 7, 2013 in Delft. The foundation aims to develop and to perform and / or support activities that foster sustainable supply of food, energy and water at home and / or abroad and do justice to the interests of agricultural enterprises and to agro-ecology, environment and biodiversity.
Bertus Buizer, chairperson
Is agricultural engineer and raised on an arable farm in the Northeast Polder in The Netherlands. He worked as a project manager for agricultural projects in Africa (Cameroon and Chad) for 6.5 years. In the Netherlands he was as a consultant one of the pioneers in the field of integrated farming. For many years, he also focuses on organic farming and sustainable energy.

Is agricultural engineer and biologist. Having worked first as a teacher of biology, since 1986 he is active in organizing courses, conference advices and knowledge transfer in sustainability in a wide context: circular economy, sustainable renovation, sustainable regional development, sustainable water – and soil management and sustainable water, energy and food supply.
